This website is part of a family of websites devoted to fishing, camping, vacations and hunting in and around the Lake Ouachita and the Hot Springs, Arkansas area.  We have devoted this website to bring you, the visitor, as much useful information about the current status of the lake as we can find.  Information such as lake level, conditions, fishing reports, upcoming tournaments and resort accommodation links.  We hope you find this information useful and you have a most enjoyable visit to Lake Ouachita.

This website is brought to you by Carlton "Doc" Holliday and Darlene "Dee" Holliday who are retired and live in Joplin, Arkansas and regularly fish Lake Ouachita.

For anglers, Lake Ouachita is well known for its prolific fishing opportunities, especially for striped bass and largemouth bass fishing.  It consistently ranks in the top 10 nationally for largemouth bass fishing.  It consistently hosts many national champonship tournaments.

Mark Davis, 1995, 1998, 2001 B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year and Bass Master Classic Winner, spends a great deal of time on Lake Ouachita.

Scott Suggs, 2007 winner of the Forrest Wood Cup, also spends a lot of time on Lake Ouachita.
